Dodeca
Design: Willem Schouten
A suspended light inspired by the perfect mathematical shape of a dodecahedron. It allows natural light to pass through, while casting dynamic shadows when lit. Hence, the Dodeca is both complex and minimalist.
Willem Schouten: “The inspiration for the collection arose from the irony of traditional lamps that,when not in use, tend to block natural light during the daytime. By integrating the light source into the construction of the frame, the Dodeca addresses this paradox.”
